Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how So Nerdy LLC handles information for Tysh, including the iOS app and the public website at ty.sh.
Who We Are
Tysh is operated by So Nerdy LLC. In this policy, "Tysh," "we," "us," and "our" refer to So Nerdy LLC and the Tysh app and website.
You can contact us about privacy at dima@sonerdy.me.
What Tysh Does
Tysh helps you create focus sessions, scheduled blocks, launch budgets, and discipline scores using Apple Screen Time technologies. Tysh is designed so detailed Screen Time and app usage activity stays on your device and is not stored by So Nerdy LLC in Firebase or another server.
Information We Collect
If you use Tysh without an account, the app stores your focus setup and Screen Time-related activity locally on your device.
If you sign in, Tysh uses Firebase Authentication and may process your email address, display name, authentication provider, Firebase user ID, and related sign-in information. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, those providers may also process information according to their own policies.
Tysh syncs a limited set of account data with Firebase Firestore so you can back up and restore your setup. This may include block list names and app counts, scheduled block names, days, times, enabled state, and protection mode, launch-budget settings, app settings such as default focus duration and daily focus goal, discipline-day scores, timestamps, deletion markers, and a random device identifier used for sync.
If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message.
Information That Stays On Device
Tysh does not store detailed app usage, Screen Time reports, top apps, pickups, notifications, hourly usage, shield events, focus-session history, or detailed app/category selections in Firebase.
App and category selections are handled through Apple's Screen Time APIs. Selection tokens are stored locally and may be stored in Apple Keychain or Apple-managed sync where enabled by your device settings, but they are not uploaded to Tysh's Firestore database.
Website Analytics
The website at ty.sh uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic, such as page views, referrers, browser, device, and performance information. We use this information to improve the website. The Tysh iOS app does not use advertising SDKs and does not use third-party advertising tracking.
